Las Vegas, NV — The Bordeaux name already carries weight in Power Slap. Brandon Bordeaux climbed to the top of the middleweight division and wore championship gold. Now, younger brother Trenton Bordeaux makes his long-awaited debut at Power Slap 15, stepping into the spotlight against veteran Brandon “The Ripper” Rhodes.

Stepping Out of the Shadow

Trenton admits the comparisons to his brother are inevitable but insists he’s here to create his own path.

“I’ll take the comparisons early on, but I want to pave my own way. I don’t want people thinking I’m only here because of my brother. I’ve invested thousands of dollars, spent weeks away from home and work, and I’m doing this for me. I’m even planning to drop down to 170 so I’m not in the same weight division. I’m me and he’s him.”

Family Support and High Expectations

The Bordeaux family has been ringside since the start of Brandon’s career, and Trenton has always been there too. He shared a moment from Power Slap 12, when their father voiced his belief that Trenten might one day surpass his older brother’s ceiling.

“That’s my dad. He’s always pushed us both. I don’t see it as competition between us — we just want each other to succeed. But if there’s a way for me to be better, I’m going to push for that, and Brandon will support me.”

Facing a Proven Veteran

Trenton’s debut won’t come easy. Brandon Rhodes enters with a 2–3 record, fresh off a bounce-back win at Power Slap 14 in New Orleans. Trenton has studied Rhodes closely, noting his improvements.

“When he fought my brother, his accuracy wasn’t great. He was clubbing, got disqualified twice. But watching him against Manny [Emmanuel Muniz], he looked sharper and tougher. He’s improved. But I still have 110% confidence that I can get the job done.”

Respect First, Then Business

Despite his confidence, Trenton carries himself with respect for Rhodes and the opportunity.

“I appreciate him taking this fight. He didn’t have to. He’s a ranked guy taking on a rookie. But I know I can take the hit, and I’m manifesting the outcome in my head. At the end of the day, I believe I’ll get my hand raised.”

The Start of Something New

For Trenton Bordeaux, Power Slap 15 is more than just a debut. It’s a chance to show the world that he’s not just “Brandon’s brother,” but a competitor ready to carve out his own future. Fans will find out on October 3rd whether the Bordeaux family legacy in Power Slap grows even stronger.
