At Power Slap 13, fans will witness a super heavyweight showdown between two newcomers with wildly different backgrounds—but the same violent intentions.
Ro Montana, a pro wrestler with flair and grit, will take on Zak Lansing, a 390-pound powerhouse with serious athleticism. The two are set to square off in the early prelims on June 27 in Las Vegas, and both men are determined to leave a lasting impression.
Lansing: “Big Man Ready for Blood”
Zak Lansing might be one of the heaviest athletes in Power Slap history, but don’t let the number fool you—he moves like a much smaller man.
“I’m trying to come in around 385 to 390, but it’s not just the weight that makes me special,” Lansing said.
“It’s my flexibility and range of movement—I can twist around like an owl.”
Zak has been keeping his training quiet, focusing on balance, core strength, and unorthodox drills under the guidance of a boxing coach.
“A lot of stability and weird stuff my coach didn’t want posted,” he added with a grin.
Montana: “Two Hostiles Slapping the Sh*t Out of Each Other”
Ro Montana enters the slap fighting world from the world of pro wrestling, where he’s no stranger to lights, cameras, and getting smashed with chairs and tables.
“I’ve been hit with chairs, man. Getting slapped is nothing,” he joked.
“This is gonna be two hostiles running at each other. I’m here to represent pro wrestlers, the Hispanic community, and everyone who’s ever been underestimated.”
Ro has been training with a BOB dummy, focusing on movement, footwork, and targeting—morning and night.
“I’m not trying to just hold a belt—I want to represent. This is bigger than me.”
Weight Gap? No Problem
Despite giving up nearly 100 pounds, Ro isn’t sweating it.
“It’s all about where you carry your mass. I’ve got it in the right places, and I’ve been training my neck hard. I’m not getting knocked out.”
Zak respects the effort but remains confident:
“At the end of the day, I want fire. I want a good match. I want blood.”
Why Fans Need to Watch
“This is some caveman stuff,” Lansing said. “Two big guys clocking each other—last man standing.”
Ro agrees, calling it a dynamic clash of styles:
“You’ve got a powerhouse like Zak and a pro wrestler like me. It’s two different worlds colliding. That’s must-watch stuff.”
Predictions & Respect
Though both men believe they’ll come out on top, there’s no trash talk here—just mutual respect and hunger.
Zak: “No disrespect to Ro. I just think I’m going to win. Maybe we’ll grab a drink after.”
Ro: “We’ve got the same mentality. But I think the pro wrestler, Ro Montana, is coming out on top.”
When asked if this fight will go the distance, both men laughed.
“Let’s swing. This one’s not going to a decision.”
