In a sport defined by raw force, discipline, and heart, Frantzley “Prince” Belizaire has all three. The Haitian-born striker made a memorable impression during the first-ever Power Slap Combine in Las Vegas, showcasing an energy and presence that left coaches and competitors alike saying: “That guy got it.”
“Everybody was surprised,” Frantzley told Slap News. “They said, ‘Dang, that guy got it!’ But for me, it’s not about surprise—it’s about purpose. I came to show them I belong.”
From Haiti to Heavyweight
Born and raised in Haiti, Frantzley moved to Florida in 2007, bringing with him the work ethic and spirit of a fighter. Over the years, he dabbled in jiu-jitsu, trained consistently, and even considered a career in trucking—until Power Slap came calling.
“I wanted to be part of UFC for a long time. I lost my phone, lost my email, but I never lost the dream. When Power Slap showed up, I said—this is the time.”
Now living in Florida and tipping the scales near 250 pounds, Frantzley is ready to test himself in the heavyweight division, but keeps the door open for light heavyweight at 205, if needed.
“Maybe too much chicken,” he joked with a grin. “But I’m working hard. I’m staying focused. I will be ready.”
A True Underdog Spirit
At 36 years old, Frantzley brings more than just knockout potential—he brings life wisdom, humility, and a message of perseverance that resonates beyond the Apex walls.
“Even if you fail, don’t stay failed,” he said. “Keep moving forward. The success is always ahead of you.”
It’s that mindset that’s earned him respect inside and outside the cage. He trains with intent, speaks with passion, and competes with heart—traits that caught the attention of Power Slap Welterweight Champion Anthony Blackburn, who took time to work with Frantzley throughout the combine.
“Anthony kept me focused. He’s a real guy. A champion in the sport, and a good coach.”
Prince Power
Though his exact cube and neck strength numbers weren’t revealed, Frantzley’s in-camp power and attitude spoke volumes.
“We are a team,” he emphasized. “We’re coming together to bring this sport higher than it can be. We are ready.”
Whether it’s heavyweight battles, a drop to light heavy, or a fan-favorite storyline of international roots, Frantzley “Prince” Belizaire is a name fans will be seeing—and feeling—soon.
