Power Slap OG Dorian “DTP” Perez fires shots at Zakir Nemembaev ahead of Power Slap 17 in Abu Dhabi — calling him scared, oily, and “on the Russian gas.” Read the full exclusive.

Abu Dhabi is about to feel the heat.
Power Slap 17 is set to ignite with a heavyweight showdown between Dorian “DTP” Perez and Kazakhstan’s Zakir Nemembaev — and if you’ve heard Perez talk, you already know this isn’t going to be a polite exchange. The self-proclaimed “gatekeeper” of Power Slap says he’s ready to shut the door on Zakir’s rise — permanently.

“They give me these new guys that have been knocking people out who don’t know how to win a slap fight off anything but power,” Perez told Slap News. “You give me somebody with a lot of knockouts, but who hasn’t been tested on the chin — I like that. I’ve been hit hard before, that doesn’t scare me. He should be scared, though. I hit harder than Cooper, probably harder than anyone up there.”

No Fear, No Excuses

Perez, who’s long been one of the toughest outs in Power Slap, isn’t sweating any of the controversy surrounding Nemembaev’s style — including accusations of illegal strikes. In fact, he welcomes it.

“I’m confident he’s gonna club me,” Perez said bluntly. “And I don’t care if they call it or not. We’re in Power Slap — you should be able to eat these shots. I’ve had people foul against me, club me, whatever. It doesn’t bother me. It just makes me better. I’ve been at the top this long for a reason — nobody can take me out. I invite them to try.”

“This Is for America”

In trademark DTP fashion, Perez didn’t hold back when talk turned international. Asked if trash talk was tougher against a non-English-speaking opponent, he turned up the heat.

“I don’t give a f*** about Kazakhstan or Borat and his cousin or Russia,” Perez said. “This is for JFK. This is for Gorbachev not tearing down the wall fast enough. This is for Stalingrad. F*** those guys. I’m an American.”

When pressed, he doubled down.

“They’re all on that Russian gas, man,” Perez laughed. “Why the f*** is he so oily and bloated? He looks like a greasy-ass Mr. Potato Head. I hate that motherf***er.”

Grinding, Not Gassing

While the trash talk runs deep, Perez insists his focus is locked in. He’s not changing much in his prep — just more grind, more discipline.

“It’s all about consistency,” he said. “I’m not out here partying or doing Russian gas. I’m eating big, coaching my guys, and staying true to what got me here. You can’t fake the grind.”

Prediction: Round 2 Knockout

So how does Perez see it going down in Abu Dhabi?

“I think it’s a round two knockout,” he said confidently. “I’ll loosen him up in round one — he’ll get panicked, probably club me — and then I’ll put him out. I don’t trust his chin. It’s not gonna last.”

And while some of Power Slap’s OGs have hung it up — including Ryan Phillips and Dwayne Crespo — Perez isn’t going anywhere.

“I’m still here. Me, AJ, Vern, Trujillo — we’re the ones who built this thing,” he said. “You can try to take me out, but you better come ready. I’ve been hit with everything. You can’t kill me like that.”

🔥 Final Words

When asked what message he had for Zakir Nemembaev, Perez didn’t hesitate.

“SU-KA OLET!” Perez shouted, laughing. “He won’t know what it means, but I hope he swings on me in Saudi Arabia. I’ll tie his ass to a camel.”

Power Slap 17 goes down in Abu Dhabi, with Dorian Perez promising violence, chaos, and maybe a little redemption for American pride. Whether you love him or hate him, one thing’s clear — DTP is coming to make a statement.
