Jackie Thomas, younger sister of knockout artist “KO” Chris Thomas, is ready to step into the spotlight and make her debut at Power Slap 13 on June 27 in Las Vegas. With a background in MMA and a natural power game reminiscent of her brother, Jackie is looking to make an immediate impact in the growing featherweight division.

“I’m really excited to get up there and do this,” Jackie told Slap News.
“I can’t wait to show everybody what I’ve got.”

The Power Runs in the Family

If her brother’s performances are any indication, Jackie Thomas is coming into Power Slap with serious heat in her hands. Footage from the Power Slap combine shows her packing serious power — and the mechanics look familiar.

“My brother’s a strong guy, so I guess we’ve both got it,” Jackie said.
“I’m ready to be successful in this.”

The women’s divisions have yet to see a high volume of finishes, but Jackie believes featherweight will change that.

“I really do,” she said. “No offense, but I think we’re built a little different. We pack on some muscle.”

Facing a Pro in Abby Montes

Jackie will be facing Abby Montes, a seasoned striker and pro MMA fighter with a Muay Thai win as recently as last month.

“I don’t know too much about her,” Jackie said.
“She looks tough, for sure. But I don’t judge a person until I meet them. I’m just focused on what I bring to the table.”

From Surgery to Slaps

While Jackie hasn’t competed since early 2024 due to recovering from surgery, she’s ready to return to action — and believes she’ll feel right at home at the UFC Apex.

“I love being in the cage. I love the energy. The excitement. So I’m excited to run with this,” she said.
“Even just stepping foot in the Apex building was surreal. I can’t wait to be back.”

The biggest hurdle between now and fight night?

“Honestly, the weight,” she admitted. “It’s been difficult. But we’ve got a plan in place. Mentally, I’m all there.”

Bloodline of Violence

Jackie will have her brother Chris in her corner, and she’s confident both siblings will leave Las Vegas with wins.

“Absolutely, he’s going to avenge his loss to Manny,” she said without hesitation.
“I think he finishes him. By KO.”

Message to Abby Montes

If Abby’s watching?

“Let’s put on a good show, girl,” Jackie said.
“I’m ready for this.”
