Fresh off her debut win at Power Slap 13, pro wrestler–turned–slap striker HollyHood Haley J walked away undefeated—and unapologetic.
Taking on Jamie Hinshaw, Haley’s debut ended in a DQ victory after two stepping fouls from her opponent. But for Haley, the result wasn’t the only win.
“It went 100% the way I wanted,” Haley said post-fight. “My goal was not to get knocked out. The win was a bonus.”
Wrestler Turned Slap Fighter: Ready for the Smoke
Known for her energy and charisma in the wrestling world, Haley says her background gave her an edge—both physically and mentally.
“Wrestling hurts way worse,” she laughed. “I’d eat these slaps all day as long as I’m not landing on my neck or back.”
Despite critics labeling pro wrestlers as “fake fighters,” Haley proved she was no joke on the Power Slap stage.
“I did this for all the so-called fake fighters. Hopefully they put some respect on our name now.”
Hitting the Mark and Looking for Validation
Landing her first-ever professional slap, Haley’s top priority wasn’t power—it was precision.
“I was just thinking, don’t club her. Just hit the right spot. That’s how you win. It reminded me of when I started wrestling—I’d look to my coach, like ‘Did I do that right?’ Same feeling.”
With no roaring arena behind her, Haley leaned on her own personal fan section: her mom and her son, who were both front row for her debut.
“My son was there. I told the camera, I can’t go down. That gave me all the energy I needed.”
From Fremont Street to Fight Night
This wasn’t Haley’s first wild Vegas story—just her first as a slap fighter.
“I wrestled on Fremont last year on my birthday and straight hit the pavement. Fremont hit me harder than Jamie did,” she joked.
And of course, no Vegas trip is complete without weird encounters:
“Me and Big Al got chased by a Kraken. We thought about fighting it, but we saved our energy. Had a fight the next day.”
Wrestlers Are Watching… And Signing Up
Haley says her DMs are now flooded with wrestlers wanting in.
“At first they were like, ‘This is dumb.’ Now it’s, ‘How do I sign up?’ Funny how that works.”
With her and Stunt Marshall both pulling off big upsets at Power Slap 13, Haley says the underdogs are putting the league on notice.
“Nobody expected Stunt to win. He shocked the world. And so did I. We were the ones they doubted—and we got the W.”
Message to Destiny: Be Careful What You Wish For
Post-fight, Haley learned that fellow competitor Destiny had called her out while she was getting checked by medical staff. Haley, never one to back down from a mic moment, didn’t hold back.
“You want to pick on the newbie? The fake fighter? I see you, Destiny. You using my name for clickbait—and I don’t blame you. I got the spotlight. But be careful wishing for a match with me. You’ll find out just like your sis did—I don’t play.”
What’s Next for Hollywood Haley J?
She’s already back on the road wrestling and training—juggling both worlds like a pro.
“I’ve got a show in Dallas this weekend, and I’ll be back in the Power Slap cage soon. Can’t wait.”
One thing’s clear: HollyHood Haley J isn’t just here for one match. She’s building a legacy, slapping down doubters one opponent at a time.
