Las Vegas, NV — After more than a year away from competition, former light heavyweight champion AyJay Hintz is set to make his long-awaited return at Power Slap 15. Dropping down to middleweight, Hintz will square off against the viral newcomer Stunt Marshall, in a fight that blends proven pedigree with untested hype.

A Reset After Time Away

Hintz hasn’t competed since his middleweight debut against Azael Rodriguez back at Power Slap 7. The break, though long, gave him a chance to recover, reset, and refocus.

“It’s been a nice little break,” Hintz admitted. “I’m coming back stronger, going to hit harder, going to take harder hits. It’s going to be a good time.”

That renewed hunger, combined with his past championship experience, sets the stage for a big return.

Frustration with the “Scrubs”

While on the sidelines, Hintz has been vocal about his disappointment with some of the new recruits.

“The hardest part is watching all these scrubs,” he said bluntly. “You’re supposed to be putting on a show, having good matches. Too many of them just aren’t performing. I’m excited to bring that back to Power Slap — nice, clean matches and crazy knockouts.”

Assessing Stunt Marshall

Stunt Marshall has only been seen once in action, but his wild appearance — Hulk Hogan mustache, mullet, high top — and knockout debut against Dante Smiley earned him instant attention.

Hintz respects the flair but isn’t intimidated.
“I f*** with the mullet, I f*** with the high top. I don’t understand why he wants to look like Hulk Hogan though — because Hulk Hogan wouldn’t want to look like him,” Hintz joked.

On Marshall’s power, he was direct: “That was a really good knockout. He folded him. But I’m excited to eat one of those shots and see if he’s got a chin or if he gets folded up himself.”

Confidence in His Chin

One of Hintz’s biggest weapons has always been his durability. He started his Power Slap career 4–0 and even went the distance with current light heavyweight champ Ron Bata.

“I know my chin will hold up,” Hintz said confidently. “It took a huge heavyweight like Nate Bernard to smash that score out the water. I’ve got one of the strongest necks in the game.”

Facing a southpaw for the first time adds intrigue. “He’s a lefty, and I’ve never been hit by a lefty yet. Apparently that’s his strong side, so we’re going to see just how strong it is.”

Middleweight the Perfect Fit

Hintz previously endured a massive weight cut, dropping from 230 lbs down to 185. Now, his walk-around weight sits comfortably near middleweight, making the division a natural home.

“This time it’s going to be nice and easy,” he explained. “I’ve just been chilling around 190, so there’s not much of a cut.”

Betting Lines and Ring Rust

Though he hasn’t competed since April 2024, Hintz isn’t worried about “ring rust.”
“I came in fresh and dominated when I started, so there’s no reason it can’t be the same again.”

If betting markets open with him as the underdog, Hintz won’t be surprised — and he welcomes it.
“People might have forgotten about me, but it’s just more satisfying when I come out and starch someone.”

Precision Over Power

Hintz built his early success on precision striking, though fouls became an issue later in his career. He’s focusing on getting back to fundamentals.

“I was just too excited to hit them sometimes,” he admitted. “I need to go back to being precise and clean.”

Message to Stunt Marshall

Before signing off, Hintz had a pointed message for his opponent:
“The wrestling’s cute and entertaining, but it’s scripted. There ain’t no script here. I hope you’re ready to get hit and I hope you’re taking it seriously.”

The Return of a Star

With AyJay Hintz back in the fold, Power Slap regains one of its most dangerous and entertaining strikers. His matchup with Stunt Marshall at Power Slap 15 is shaping up to be a showdown of power, precision, and personality — the exact kind of fight fans want to see.
