Rob Perez—better known to fans as The One-Eyed Wolf—is no stranger to putting on a show. Undefeated in Dirty Boxing and a certified Power Slap veteran, Rob is blazing a trail in yet another combat sport, and he’s bringing that same relentless, no-nonsense energy fans have come to love.
We caught up with the Wolf to talk about his growing stardom, his transition into Dirty Boxing, and what fans can expect next.
On Becoming a Dirty Boxing Star
“I’m undefeated, man. No one can take me down,” Wolf said confidently when asked about his growing legend. With names like Mike Perry, Yoel Romero, and Jon Jones involved, Dirty Boxing is becoming a proving ground for combat athletes—and Perez is leading the charge.
He praised the sport’s raw and gritty nature:
“I fell in love with the ruleset right away. Elbows, close range, no takedowns—I was made for this.”
Boxers vs. MMA Fighters in Dirty Boxing
Perez believes boxers have a unique edge:
“Boxers are better dirty fighters than MMA guys. Our hands are faster. We don’t worry about grappling—we just throw.”
He’s seen it firsthand, having taken out former UFC competitors:
“They’re giving me these old, dusty ex-UFC fighters. Their hands can’t match mine.”
Power Slap vs. Dirty Boxing – What Hurts More?
When asked what hurts more, a slap or a punch with four-ounce gloves, the Wolf didn’t hesitate:
“I love getting hit—it’s all the same to me. Power Slap is straight-up, no IQ needed—just cojones. Dirty Boxing? You need skill, power, and fight IQ.”
Bringing Power Slap to Dirty Boxing
Perez is proud to help his fellow Power Slap alumni transition into Dirty Boxing.
“I helped Devin Schwan get on this card. He’s a bad motherfucker, and now he’s headlining. It’s awesome to see guys go back to their roots before Slap.”
He recalled how surprised he was by Dwayne Crespo’s transition:
“I didn’t know he had hands like that. But Dirty Boxing exposes that. It’s not just hype—it’s survival.”
Next Fight: Lights Out Guaranteed
Perez is set to face Alex Nicholson—a veteran with UFC ties and a friend of Mike Perry. The Wolf isn’t impressed.
“Alex the Inbred from Florida—his career is going downhill, and I’m about to put it to sleep. If you miss this, you’re missing history. Guaranteed knockout.”
Why Watch Rob Perez?
“Because I’m the fucking Wolf. I talk my talk, and I walk my walk. If you don’t know, now you know.”
Rob Perez has become must-see TV in both Power Slap and Dirty Boxing. One way or another, he delivers a show—every single time.
