A man of many faces, pro wrestling veteran Sinn Bodhi has officially stepped into the Power Slap universe — not as a competitor, but as a consultant, recruiter, coach, matchmaker, and on-screen personality. Recently, Slap News caught up with Sinn to hear how he got involved, what the future holds, and how he’s helping shape the next generation of Power Slap stars.

“It’s wonderful being me today,” Bodhi laughed. “I’m here on my funny farm just outside Death Valley, covered in dogs, chickens, goats, you name it — and now, here we are, talking Power Slap.”

How Pro Wrestling’s Madman Landed in Power Slap

The Power Slap office was looking for characters — athletes with big personalities, toughness, and that extra “spark” to make good TV. Naturally, they turned to Sinn Bodhi.

“They wanted crazy, flamboyant, adventurous people — the kinds of folks I know well in the wrestling trenches,” he explained. “So, they signed me up to help scout talent, bring in new faces, and help grow Power Slap into something even bigger.”

Bodhi’s role bridges multiple worlds: he travels, mentors wrestlers, hosts seminars, and understands both the physical demands and the entertainment side of combat sports. His mission? Find the best, most entertaining, and most durable athletes for the slap stage.

Scouting the Best: 200 Calls, 100 Candidates, 10 Favorites

When tasked with delivering 100 top-tier recruits, Bodhi reached out to nearly 200 fighters and personalities. Some were excited, some were hesitant, and some were — as he joked — “scared shitless.”

One of his biggest heartbreaks? A former WWE champion who was his #1 pick but got injured before he could debut.

“He was super down for it, totally game,” Bodhi revealed. “He went to jiu-jitsu, hurt his shoulder, and now he’s out — but maybe next season.”

While he didn’t name names directly, he dropped a huge hint:
“We, the people.”
(Wrestling fans will know exactly who that is.)

What Makes a Great Power Slap Athlete?

Bodhi’s criteria were clear:
Durability – Can they take a hit and keep going?
Personality – Will they make fans cheer, boo, or light up the crowd?
Uniqueness – No cookie-cutter athletes; every competitor needs their own flavor.
Battle-Tested Mentality – People who’ve been through the grind and want to seize an opportunity.

“The worst thing for a wrestler is to come out to crickets,” Sinn said. “Love them or hate them, as long as the crowd is loud, they thrive. And that energy carries over to Power Slap.”

The Wrestler’s Advantage — and Challenge

Sinn believes wrestlers bring a unique edge to Power Slap, especially when it comes to handling live audiences and performing under pressure.

“Most regular athletes get nervous when you put a mic in front of them — but wrestlers? They’re used to crazy crowds, bright lights, and high stakes,” he said. “That gives them an edge.”

Still, he admitted taped (non-live) events might feel harder for pro wrestlers, who feed on audience energy, compared to fresh fighters just getting their first experience.

Why Power Slap? Why Now?

Bodhi sees something special in Power Slap — a sport that mixes the spectacle of wrestling with the raw, unscripted intensity of combat sports.

“With Power Slap, your destiny is literally and figuratively in the palm of your hand,” he said. “In wrestling, it’s scripted — in Power Slap, you step up and swing. No fix, no script, just win or lose on your own terms.”

He’s also quick to push back against critics who call slap fighting too dangerous.

“There’s never been a broken neck or torn ACL in Power Slap,” he explained. “Pro wrestling injuries happen all the time. Sports carry risk, period — whether you’re on the gridiron, in the octagon, or on the slap stage.”

The Future: More Characters, More Stories, More Spectacle

Bodhi promises he’s working to bring variety, charisma, and excitement to Power Slap — not just raw athletes, but magnetic personalities who will elevate the sport’s storytelling and fan connection.

“I’m not trying to turn Power Slap into pro wrestling or UFC — it’s its own thing,” he emphasized. “But I am here to bring ketchup to the burger. I want the full buffet: monsters, funny people, villains, heroes — all the flavors.”
