Las Vegas, NV — After nearly two years away from the stage, Miles Jackson is back and ready to make a statement at Power Slap 15. The towering heavyweight will square off against Bruno “El Oso” Lonko on October 3rd in Las Vegas, marking one of the most physically imposing matchups the division has ever seen.

Life Outside the Cage, Fire Still Burning

Since his last outing — a disqualification victory over Brian Ellis in October 2023 — Jackson has kept busy outside the sport. But he never closed the door on a return.
“I didn’t put all my eggs in one basket. I kept working, living life, waiting for the call,” Jackson explained. “Now it’s here, and I’m ready.”

A Clash of Giants

Lonko enters with a professional wrestling background and a listed height of 6’9”. For Jackson, the size only adds to the intrigue.
“Outside of Aaron Turner, there’s not too many guys past 6’1 in this division,” Jackson noted. “I’ve been ready for this. I made my mark box from memory a long time ago — as long as I get where I need to be, I’ll produce the damage.”

At over six and a half feet tall himself, Jackson sees this as a battle of true titans, testing not only raw power but the ability to transfer it effectively within the Power Slap box.

Lessons Learned, Miles Jackson 2.0

Looking back on his last match, Jackson admits he wasn’t at his best.
“Even if I take a slap this time, it’s not going to end the same way it did with Brian. Back then, I just stood there, didn’t tense up, nothing. That’s not happening again. I don’t touch the hot stove twice.”

Since then, he’s been studying the evolution of the sport, noting the growing emphasis on defense, precision, and adaptability.
“I’ve got a couple different styles for every opponent. All I do is critique and change what I need to change to be ready when the call comes,” Jackson said.

Family Support and Motivation

With Las Vegas now just weeks away, Jackson says his family and friends are fully behind him.
“They’re excited for me, just as if they were going in themselves,” he said with a grin. “Once my hand makes contact, whatever is behind it has to break. That’s what fans can expect.”

Message to Bruno Lonko

Jackson kept his final words simple but direct:
“With him being so new to the sport, it’s probably best to keep the trash talk to a minimum before he writes checks his ass can’t cash. This ends with my right hand, guaranteed.”
