Kody “Big Bird” Hrastnik is back—and this time he’s not here to make friends. He’s here to make a statement.

Originally scheduled to face Brian Ellis, Big Bird was notified last minute that Ro Montana would be stepping in as his new opponent at Power Slap 14 on July 18 in New Orleans. While the switch may have caught fans off guard, Big Bird is ready to bring violence—plain and simple.

New Opponent, Same Mission

“I just got a text this morning from Erica—no longer fighting Brian Ellis. I’ll now be fighting Ro Montana.”

Ro Montana is best known as one of Power Slap’s charismatic personalities. A pro wrestling background, viral dance moves, and a disqualification win in his only Power Slap bout against a much larger Zach Lansing have made him a fan favorite, but Big Bird isn’t sold on the hype.

“Do you really bring any skill if you just win by DQ? He’s got entertainment, sure. But I’m here to do business.”

Big Bird 2.0: A New Version

Since leaving the Power Slap house over a year ago, Hrastnik has gone underground—and he’s been putting in the work.

“I’m a healthier version of myself. I’ve dropped some weight, changed my technique completely, and I’m bringing more power and precision than ever before.”

Big Bird acknowledges that in the past, he talked a lot but didn’t always walk it. That’s changed now.

“Every time I’ve come back, I’ve gotten better. The only option left for me is a win.”

A Fight with Nothing to Lose

Big Bird’s last match was a controversial loss to Darius the Destroyer, and he’s been hungry for redemption ever since.

“The most dangerous man on this planet is the one with nothing to lose—and I’ve got nothing else to lose.”

He believes the judges got it wrong in the Darius fight, but he’s not dwelling on the past. Instead, he’s focused on unleashing a storm on Montana.

What to Expect on Fight Night

“Sheer violence. Whether it’s MMA, boxing, or Power Slap—I’m coming to put pressure on you until you break.”

Big Bird says his striking is cleaner, more explosive, and more dangerous than ever. And while he respects Ro Montana’s charisma and showmanship, he’s not looking for theatrics.

“I don’t really know who Ro is. All I know is that I’m coming to do business. He’s going out in one.”

Final Words to Ro Montana

“All respect, Ro. But this isn’t personal. It’s business. You’re going out in one.”
