Power Slap Striker Wesley Drain joins Slap News for an exclusive interview about his experience being casted for the Power Slap Road To The Title Series that’s airing now on TBS & Rumble! Wesley’s past mma career prepared him for the journey and looking for an opportunity to be seen by the people at the UFC he took a chance to jump at the opportunity to tryout for Power Slap. With many other individuals invited, he slapped his way into the house during a match that hasn’t been released yet publicly.
He rocketed onto the scene with his match against Jon Kennedy which put him on the map with a very impressive win! That win over Jon Kennedy opened up a previous cut that Drain experienced in training in which his mouth guard cut his lip the day previous. With Jon’s first slap, it instantly caused intense swelling. Knocking Jon out in the second round led to him being ranked #1 in the initial rankings in the house as going in as top dog. His third matchup with Jesse Nutting is scheduled to air next week and is sure to be a great fight that pins 2 competitors against each other looking to swing their way into the first ever live event being held in Las Vegas, Nevada on March 11th, 2023.
The sport of slap fighting will continue to grow in the coming months and years and fighters such as Wesley Drain look to cement themselves at the top of the middleweight division for years to come.
