Power Slap 13 features one of the most intriguing matchups in the women’s division to date—Jeslen Mishelle vs. Taylar “Muscle Mommy” Minton. Both are newcomers to the Power Slap stage, but they’re bringing serious size, strength, and swagger.

And if their interview is any indication, fans are in for an explosive debut.

No Weight Cut. No Excuses. Big Girls Are Here to Slap.

From the get-go, both Jeslen and Taylar celebrated the opportunity to fight at their natural size. No grueling weight cuts—just raw power.

Jeslen: “I’m just happy I don’t have to cut weight. I get to show up at full strength as my big woman self.”
Taylar: “They told me 170 and I said, ‘Thank you, God.’ I’ve been praying for this!”

The two fighters also touched on how combat sports often overlook heavier women, with Jeslen noting the lack of high-level opportunities and divisions for bigger female athletes.

“There’s discrimination against higher weight classes in combat sports,” Jeslen said. “But we’re about to change that in Power Slap.”

Farm Girl vs. Pro Wrestler

Taylar’s strength is rooted in her background—literally. A former competitive horse rider, she spent years wrangling thousand-pound animals.

“I’ve been trampled, slammed, and thrown around by horses,” she said. “That tendon strength is different.”

Jeslen, on the other hand, comes from the pro wrestling world and credits her years of ring bumps and whiplash-inducing stunts for building her jaw, traps, and toughness.

“That wrestling grind built my neck and chin. We take hits every night that most people couldn’t handle once.”

Will We See the First Legal Women’s KO?

Power Slap has yet to see a clean, legal knockout in the women’s division—but both Jeslen and Taylar think that’s about to change.

Taylar: “We’re two big, strong women. I’m bringing a KO.”
Jeslen: “I’ve taken punches from MMA fighters and native girls at rez parties—I can take a hit. But I’m also ready to deliver one right back.”

They both agree this could be the most powerful women’s fight in Power Slap history—and maybe the one that prompts the league to create a dedicated 170-pound women’s title.

Respect… But Only Until the First Slap

Despite their friendly banter, both women are locked in and fully intend to leave the other seeing stars.

Jeslen: “I haven’t been knocked out before, and I don’t think you’re going to be the first.”
Taylar: “I hope you’re ready to get knocked out—respectfully.”

What’s refreshing is the mutual respect. They’re not faking beef—they’re just two ultra-competitive women, ready to make a statement and then go grab a drink.

Why Should Fans Tune In?

Taylar: “Two beautiful big girls slapping each other? What else do you want?”
Jeslen: “We’re statuesque, powerful women—and this is something you don’t get to see in other combat sports.”

Prediction Time

Jeslen: “She slaps me first—it’s like she hit a brick wall. I slap her back—KO. Done. Fun. Drinks.”
Taylar: “Sounds good to me. Let’s give them a show—and then celebrate together.”
